There is a tired story that good software must be slow, expensive, and
fragile — pick two, and pray. Limit Break exists to retire that story.
We are a boutique studio with a long memory: we were shipping production
systems back when “the cloud” meant the weather, and we never
stopped caring about the boring parts — correctness, tests, and a
deploy that doesn’t page you at 3 a.m.
What changed is leverage. AI lets us move across stacks without lowering our
standards: a PHP shop one week, a Go CLI the next, a Rails rescue after that.
The judgment is still ours; the typing is just faster. So when a client asks
whether we “do React, or is it more of a Laravel thing,” the
honest answer is usually: yes, and the test suite comes free.
That last part is not a flourish. Every engagement ships with an automated
test suite handed over as a first-class artifact — yours to keep, run,
and extend. We treat QA as a deliverable, not a courtesy, because tests are
how “it works on my machine” becomes “it works in
production, and we can prove it.”
We will also tell you straight. If a project genuinely needs a specialist we
aren’t — a design-led brand system, say, or a cost-sensitive
AWS build the size of a small city — we’ll say so, and point you
somewhere honest. The answer is sometimes “not us.” That, too, is
the service.
